However, the footprints of the power generators, as well as the materials required to transfer the created energy must be accounted for. A wave generator that damages fisheries and delicate ocean eco systems would not be classified as eco friendly. Solar panel farms that take up agricultural land would also not count as eco friendly, as it destroys renewable food sources.
